The plant fibres of the sisal agave are very similar in structure to human hair. This enables them to absorb excess sebum from the hair cells and distribute it to the ends of the hair when brushing. Care instructions:
Our Redwood Brush Cleaner can be used to effortlessly remove lint and stuck hairs from the spaces between the bristles. Clean the brush from time to time with a mild, silicone-free shampoo or soap and warm water, then rinse under cold water. Dry the wooden body with a soft cloth and allow the brush to dry standing on the bristles.
Regular oiling with a natural oil such as linseed oil or olive oil protects and maintains the wood.
